Jun. 5th, 2004 11:59 pmlet's pretend it's still Saturday because hey, really it's only Sunday by a little bit...
retook my SAT this morning... how fortunate of me, I got 4 math sections on it, gyeh. Although actually... as much as I despise math, it -was- thoroughly easy math, and so actually I feel quite good about it. don't think I did as hot on the verbal section, surprisingly enough. anyway...
afterwards I got to drive 2 1/2 hours to Chicago for my cousin's graduation party... thoroughly boring in general, except for the parts where we almost died in the horrendous traffic. I fucking hate big cities. hung around for a while, then drove 2 1/2 hours back. gee, marvelous.
around 8:30 Bree showed up, and we went and saw Harry Potter... her first time, my second in as many days. Ah well. There was nothing else playing, really, and she wanted to see it, and it's not as though we had anything better to do. The plot-skipping bits bothered me much less this time around, so actually I kind of enjoyed it more. Plus we had fun engaging in inappropriate laughter and annoying the other patrons, heh. The only creepy part was at the beginning when a whole clot of preps from my school came in and were waving at me and going "HI!!" like they were friends of mine or something. I just kind of half-waved and blinked at them. One greeted Bree more enthusiastically than she did me, which was a little odd seeing as Bree doesn't even go to my school.
When we went to leave my house at 9:10, we were in a hurry, since the movie started at 9:30. My car was very much parked in, but Bree had a headache and didn't feel like driving, so I just drove her car, to the movies and back. It smells like goat, shakes creepily and tries to stall when it's stopped, and has shitty accelleration that makes me fear for my life in intersections, but once it's moving it DOES have a fucking awesome turning radius despite its size, so I was having fun with that, taking turns waaaay faster than I normally would've, just because I could. That's a long sentence, heh.
And now we're back, and I suppose it's time to watch stupid TV for several hours, heh. Tomorrow we're going to my school's graduation ceremony, and then later to
barodalove's graduation party. Special and fun.
Time to stop ignoring Bree for the computer, I suppose, heh.
