(no subject)

So... yeah. Stuff. I have internet access now, hooray. The last few days were fun, a lot of driving, but yeah. I don't know, I'm bad at recapping. The cabin was torn up and we were locked out (Ali had to climb through the laundry room window) so we wound up staying in a motel in Honor on Thursday... went shopping in Traverse City and stuff... yeah. Friday we drove to Mackinac, shopped some more... drove a LOT more. We got to Marquette at 7. Saturday we went to the Renaissance Faire that was in Ishpeming... it was a really tiny one, but they had a lot of little booths with artists and stuff set up so that was neat. I bought a necklace, Ali bought assorted jewelry and a knife, and we split the cost on a present for Bree.


Today we got to Houghton at around noon, I almost died carrying my suitcase up three flights of stairs... I think when I go to leave I'm putting anything fragile in the other suitcase and just rolling that fucking thing down the stairs. My roomate was already here, the counselor said she was staying all 4 weeks, but she was nowhere to be found so I still haven't met her. So that should be... interesting, I guess.


I ran into Emily D up here, which surprised both of us... I'm not really that good of friends with her but we do get along, so that's good... and I also found another random group of people, so hey.


I need to go to Wal-Mart today and buy batteries for my speakers. They're dead and that's sad.


I don't know how much I'll be posting, if anyone wants to talk I'll be on AIM probably around 5 - 7 each night, 5 - 9 if there's nothing better going on. So yeah.
