So... haunted house was actually GOOD last night. Amazing. Yeah. I was in the "body parts hallway", which, as the name would imply, had a bunch of random latex body parts all over the walls/ceiling, and also led to a hallway full of hanging bodybags. There were holes for my head/arms in one wall, so my job was to stick my head/arms through the holes and be perfectly still, so that I looked like I was also random body parts. When people turned the corner they'd see the bodybags and be creeped out and not notice me, and then I'd suddenly reach out at them and they'd go "HOLY SHIT!!" and scream very loudly and fall over. (Not an exagerration -- this happened a LOT, and with macho guys as well as girls). So aside from probably having permanent eardrum damage, it was great.

Also I had the best makeup job EVER for it. )

I slept until noon today. Scary. I never do that.

Anyway...

EDIT:// Hah. That photo kind of matches the usericon I used... awesome.

my parents were down at Glenlord Beach and noticed a small white rabbit sitting under one of the yucca plants by the curb... obviously a pet that either ran away or was abandoned there. my father wanted to leave it alone, so a few minutes later my mother and I went back with a cardboard box and some carrots and caught it. Wasn't too difficult, since it was starving -- my mother threw it a carrot and it was so engrossed in that that she could just come up behind it and grab it.

so now, we have in our back porch a small white rabbit with gray ears, black spots, and a black mustache, who is now living in a large cardboard box with a screen over it (and also a large radio on the screen to hold it in place) and a towel draped over half. Obviously cardboard is not quite ideal for bunny housing but we don't have a cage for it and our neighbor, who does, isn't home at present. We have temporarily named him Charlie (after Charlie Chaplin -- we decided that was nicer than Adolph, after a certain German dictator who shares the same mustache).

We're going to take a picture and put up signs tomorrow in case he was indeed lost, and not abandoned... but if no one claims him, the problem is that my house really does not have room for a bunny, especially what with the two cats and all. So in that case we're going to have to try to find someone to take him, heh. But yeah... for now, we seem to have a bunny.

It's cute, heh. ^^;
