(no subject)

attempt number 4 at posting something this weekend. I keep starting to write things, getting distracted, not posting them, and then they no longer seem relevant.

hell week has commenced and is going remarkably well. some sort of vague camaraderie, at least, which is a step up from the usual situation of "greeeaaattt, everyone knows everyone else and then here's me".

also I have some sort of vague authority, which is niiiiice.

not looking forward to the next few weeks in general though. end of the quarter = getting fucked. auuugh.

was almost late to rehearsal today because I decided to make a new LJ layout, heh. it looks better in firefox than IE, which is fine because you shouldn't be using IE anyway (though the only big differences are the header font and the fact that it doesn't center, fortunately). used a header I made/used last year with some stolen shit that's more modern-looking than I have the energy to code for. the lack-of-gap between mood and mood icon annoys the SHIT out of me but I don't know how to fix it and S2 can go fuck itself... it's gotten better, though, I suppose.

at some point I need to change the title lyrics to something less angsty, but I'm too lazy to pick any out. they would be gone if I could figure out how...

anyway, babbling. what I should be doing is homework-ing or sleeping, but we all know the likelihood of either of those.
