so, mild strep throat, apparently. but I'm actually kind of happy about this, because it's easy enough to get rid of, 3 pills of penicillin and it's already going away....


complicated math is sometimes easier when you have no conception of it.

question in book: the sun is 400 times farther from the earth than is the moon. how long does it take light from the moon to reach the earth? (question above this: "light from the sun takes 8 minutes to reach the earth...)
girl next to me: *launches into complicated physics equation, which teacher helps her complete*
me: .... if the moon is 1/400 as far, can't I just divide 8 minutes by 400?
teacher: *grins* that's how I'D do it...


I am too lazy to shower. Hooray.
