I crocheted part of a hat today. It is fuzzy and vaguely unattractive, but I am still proud of it because apparently I wasn't doing actual stitches on those octopi, and now I know three of them...

atoms are confusing little fuckers. so are spectums, and everything else related to astronomy.

hanging lights alone for 4 hours a day is a kind of shitty way to spend your week. one hit me in the face today. later, I spent 15 minutes hitting it with a wrench for unrelated reasons.

today has been.... interesting. in good news, I am now being PAID to swear at lighting instruments for several hours each day, including for the last two weeks, meaning the $60 Writing Center paycheck I was going to be getting in a week and a half just turned into a $200-something paycheck. yippee. I pretty much made up my hours because I hadn't been recording them, but I have an overactive conscience and went a little low. but a paycheck for 9 hours just turned into a paycheck for 31 hours (since ultimately both are coming from the college), which is always nice.

in not-so-good news, well, it isn't any of your business, actually.

I am doing absolutely nothing tonight. Yippee.
