(no subject)

right, so, LJ. I picked Alyssa up from the airport on Tuesday, 3 hours late, after a long day that both of us spent swearing at O'Hare Airport (my personal favorite moment: since it's a 45-minute flight and a 45-minute drive, me watching the flight information online waiting for it to say she'd taken off so I could leave then, and it predicting a takeoff time of 3:51... only to find out at 3:48 that the fucker had ACTUALLY left over 20 minutes earlier. AWESOME.) We had a long week filled with awesome shopping... a lot of it, but all A. useful, and B. good deals. Yesterday I helped her move in and it was a motherfucking comedy of errors. I was going to go home afterwards but wound up chilling in Kzoo with her and Naseem. (Bad grammar, I know, fuck you.)

Now I am home, AND I HAVE MY LAPTOP BACK JESUS FUCKING CHRIST FINALLY, and I just got Skype and my webcam set up, soooooo, yeah.

One of these days I need to post my Scotland address on here. One of these days in the next few weeks before I leave, OF WHICH THERE ARE TWO. what the hell.


P.S. My really exciting/epic/life-changing hair appointment on Friday got canceled because the 547385094352 thunderstorms that came through on Thursday night knocked out power there. Lame.
