Oct. 30th, 2007 12:46 pm...Okay, seriously, I want to steal Jenny and take her back to America when I leave and she can be our needed extra person to have enough for a house next year.
Tuesdays are my day from hell, and I was sulking around the kitchen making breakfast this morning while she ate, and after giving me a big hug she gave me chocolate.
She walked past a bit later while I was sitting on the floor of my room cleaning water out of my backpack because my water bottle exploded and I was already running late and ARGH, and two seconds later appeared in my room holding out a Kinderegg, which she would not let me refuse.
Additionally:
-We have established complete sharing of each other's tea and spice collections, although I seriously owe her some chai because they were out when I went to buy it.
-Last night we stood in the hallway talking about art and death for 10 minutes while she (intermittently) brushed her teeth... there's something kind of awesome about talking philosophy when both people are in their pajamas and one of them has a toothbrush hanging out of their mouth.
-She is going to be my linzertorte-baking buddy since I am not on the same continent as Bree right now.
-She has an amusingly dirty sense of humor.
-And, in the "why she would be the perfect addition to the me/Alyssa/Holly house of next year" category: she'd rather be naked.
Honestly, I really did get lucky with the flatmates thing here. I was worried after my disastrous set of randomly-assigned roommates freshman year, but while two of the flatmates I have here are sort of nonexistent/hostile, Evette is entertaining, and Laura is sweet and everyone's mum, and Jenny is amazing, and somehow the four of us just manage to mesh really well. I'm so glad that managed to work out so well.
