I really don't want to find a new between-class loitering spot, but the bad student radio is back and they keep interrupting the songs with random animal noises.

Yesterday was obscenely fucking long... today should hopefully be better.

I have nooooo discipline here. It's a good thing that I'm only REALLY taking two classes when I get back to K (although oh, what bitches they will be. Directing and Art History. And Design II but... I sort of did that last spring on top of three classes, just not for a credit, so...)

I'm actually sort of surprised that I'm not depressed when my life contains this degree of doing-nothing... normally it gets to me. I guess I deal with it better when I'm not at home.

I need to get myself into some kind of schedule with some kind of discipline, but I'm a deadline person and there aren't deadlines here, just vague reading assignments -- vague in the "well, do it by finals" way.

On the other hand, that's sooner than it feels like...

edit//: o_O I know lots of people here end text messages with little "x"-type kisses, but it's... sort of odd to get them from your presentation partner. Particularly when you are addressed as "babe" in the same message.

*waves £108 check that came today that is COMPLETELY USELESS TO HER*

You can't cash a check in Scotland unless you have a bank account, which I do not. It is in pounds, so I can't mail it home to be deposited. For this reason, I told them to just put it back on my credit card, gave them all the credit card information, etc. ... They sent me a fucking check.

They also put the other £200 of my refund towards paying off my accomodations fee, which is nice, but they told me they -couldn't- do that.

ARGH.

The fun part is that all of this fuckery can of course be traced back to the CIP, who made the utilities payment after informing me that they wouldn't and after I'd already paid it (which is why Aberdeen owed me money).
