Oh my god. Shopping around Christmas when the mall is full of little old ladies and slow people makes me want to KILL.

I spent the last two evenings working on my Islam project... it's been fun being out of Hillhead, though (we're doing it at my project partner's house for computer-y reasons, and he lives across town), even if I had to take two buses to get home last night and I fell running to catch the second and have a foot-long bruise on my knee/assorted soreness all over my right leg.

Also, Sunday was exciting... Evidently their house was having problems of the strange-noises-and-things-moving-about variety, so Daniel (because typing "my presentation partner" gets annoying) did what any crazy person religion student PERFECTLY SANE AND REASONABLE PERSON would do and called up a priest he knew to come bless the house. So at around 2... a priest shows up. Full robes, holy water, bible.

How to tell you're in the UK: as said priest is standing there donning MORE robes, one of Daniel's housemates asks him: "Would you like a cup of tea?" He just kind of blinked and went, "uh, I think I'll, you know, do the thing first..."

But then he did stay for tea after and we all got to make awkward conversation. Yay?
Things never to say to a priest, also brought to you by ze housemates:
"So, busy on a Sunday, then?"
"Well, goodbye, hope we don't see you again soon!"

(The former being a bad attempt at small talk, the latter the worst possible way to say "hope our house is done being creepy!")

Anyway. Time for Geology lab, and then Laura's birthday stuff, and aaaaagh.
