(no subject)

traveling alone is fine during the day; it's the nights that get bleh. It's 7 PM and I'm out of things to do that aren't drinking, which is both too expensive and too depressing to do alone, especially when you're surrounded by people who have other people. this does not bode well for the large amount of traveling solo in my immediate future, does it?

of course, other shit is eating at me currently, too, which is probably not helping.

it snowed today, which, while not exciting to those of you back in Michigan, was pretty exciting to me, as I haven't seen any this winter. of course, it WOULD be when my plane was meant to be taking off. also, it kind of made me homesick (although that's not the what's-bothering-me above... not really).

i really need human contact right now. really. badly.
