HAHAHAHAHA SERIOUSLY?

like, what else is going to happen this year? i cannot begin to guess.

last night i cleaned out and cleaned the Toyota and moved it down to this unofficial neighborhood parking lot so that I would stop eating the whole driveway and so that it'd be easier to show potential buyers. posted it on craigslist. today, a potential buyer was coming by at 5:30 or so to take a look, and was going to call me when he got down there. the phone call:

guy: so, I'm down here, but I have some bad news.. there's some damage...
me: oh, yeah, that big dent in back has been there a while.
guy: yeah but... your windshield and driver's side door window... someone broke them...

... yeah.

here's the thing: if i had enemies of a certain kind, this would make way more sense. the windshield shows three points of impact, likely with a big rock, and is spiderwebbed from there. the window is just gone, because said big rock was thrown hard enough that it hit the passenger side door and left a mark (thank god it wasn't 6" higher) and rebounded back to the center console. nothing was stolen. just fucked the hell up.

i did the math and i'm getting it fixed, we found a place that does it really cheaply and i'll get more if i fix it and sell as planned than if i lower the price to compensate for the windshield, certainly more than if i scrap it.

but ugh. fuck.
