a direct hit to the senses, you are disconnected

so work decided that my new availability translated to "have me work all of these times" rather than "these are the times when it is physically possible for me to be at work", and gave me 32 hours next week. 32 goddamn hours the first week of school. fuck me sideways. this is going to be my hardest quarter -- worse than my SIP/comps quarter -- and I've been wanting to get my GPA up a wee bit so that I can graduate with the next tier of honors. it won't happen with that. i cannot fucking do it. i remember how crazy I was working 20hrs a week as master electrician sophomore year, and that was on campus, rather than in fucking portage, and with easier classes.

i went in today and changed my availability so that they have to give me wednesdays off -- a little sanity midweek -- but i'm pissed, because i left it so open for their benefit, and they used that to fuck me. i'm pretty sure i said a max of 20-25 hours on the first availability sheet, but plainly that was ignored. i can't get out of it next week, though, because i figured it out too late in the game.
