Jon decided he wanted bodies all along the proscenium arch. So today, 45 people converged on the playhouse, and the morning was spent covering 16 of them in plaster.
First, everyone took their clothes off.

haha, kidding. there WAS swimwear involved. and some reeeeally shoddily-corrected white balance... had it in the wrong setting for this one.
Then Jon posed them.

Then we covered them in saran wrap.

Then we covered them in plaster. Which I have no process pictures of, because I was participating.

(the one I helped on)
Then we moved the plaster bodies off the stage. They remind me of those Pompeii things you see.

Then people took turns swinging from a random rope hanging from the catwalks...

(quote to accompany: "OH GOD THIS IS VERY HIGH. VERY. VERY HIGH.")
...while more industrious sorts reinforced the body casts.

And later, people harnessed up and went to work at the top of the arch that the bodies will eventually be mounted to.
