ohgod. the week from hell is over and I am SO glad. and today was good, aside from miserably botching my African Lit presentation ("notecards? what notecards? I'm just going to babble awkwardly for 10 minutes!")... I made a purse, and ate non-cafeteria food, and bought books AGAIN*, and met people, and swing-danced, and got a phone call. and tomorrow I need to paint (dammit I am SO sick of paint you have no fucking idea) but beyond that, nothing really pressing going on, and god it will feel so good to just RELAX for a moment. in any case, now I will ignore the smattering of living-room drunks and curl up and read for a while.


*I've developed an unhealthy tendency towards going out on Friday nights and spending money... for the third week in a row, I took myself to Panera for dinner and then went book-shopping, although at least this time it was not followed by clothes-shopping (I know, what the hell, right?) or a random Meijer shopping spree. I really need to stop spending money that I do not have as an antidote for boredom.
