why am I still awake? oh yes, late-night addictive nature programming, followed by late-night eventually-disconnected but long-overdue phone call, followed by late-night probably stoned theatre kids watching a movie and eating chinese in the basement where I was on the phone, and me deciding to join them for a while since they did extend an invitation and I try not to be an asshole when people who normally dislike but who it would be more convenient if they DID like me (after all, I AM the outcast theatre major) decide to be friendly.

I have to be at work at 9:00 and I just pulled a "stuck to the stupid Internet" all-nighter, AGAIN. I'd ask if you'd like to throw your lot in with my tired ass and go to breakfast, but it's Good Friday and I'm going to make a semi-serious attempt to fast. (I'm following the Jewish/Muslim rule where you just eat when the sun isn't up. Thus I have the cereal and the raisins out now while I have a chance.)

Oh, and the evil sea creature from the deep was the COLOSSAL SQUID and it has rotating hooks on its tentacles. Females get up to 50 feet long and are "formidable lovers." I can't even describe to you the mating scene they showed except in two words:
