Oct. 29th, 2007 12:10 pmThere are two monitors next to me which have been stripped of their accompanying computers -- as evidenced by the cables lying akimbo in front of them. This has not stopped at least 3-4 people now from coming over and sitting down at them and pressing buttons and wiggling the mouse and trying to figure out why they're not working.
I'm not a nice enough person to not be amused by this, but I am a nice enough person to point it out to them eventually. Ah well.
I'm trying to look shit up on JSTOR, but rapidly realising how much I'm just not in the mood to.
...I have to use something other than MLA for my paper for Friday. Waah. I guess it's sort of like Chicago style but my brain is so steeped in MLA that any other citation style makes me twitch a little.
I should probably stop writing in LJ now, given the extent to which I want to punch people in the head when they're on Myspace or Bebo or Facebook and I'm in a computer queue 5 people deep like there is now. At least I'm pretending to multitask... so that makes it okay... right?
