in every dream i have about her she's here but she's sick, alive but she's suffering.

how selfish am i, that my brain would prefer that to her just being gone?

in other news, i am sick and miserable and sick of being miserable.

I don't think it has to do with being selfish Kels. You miss your mommy. That's normal. I can't imagine living without my mom, that you get up every day and manage to function is a huge accomplishment in itself. Don't let anyone else tell you different.
