Note: when someone asks you to help them paint and mentions that it's oil paint, first ensure that they have the appropriate solvents to remove it from your skin when all is said and done. THEN you offer to help and paint the weird nooks and crannies that will inevitably result in covering yourself with the stuff.

haha, I know how that goes... I'd always get it all over my hands and arms while painting portraits. Then people would look at me funny when I went out later...

Paint is better than blood. I've had blood on my clothes or hands (always my own, always an accident) without realizing it until I looked up and saw someone staring at me in horror. When I did makeup and wardrobe for Macbeth I spilled fake blood on myself all the time, and few onlookers can tell the difference. Try buying duct tape when you've got that stuff on you....
