I fucked up my English presentation. it was a group presentation so aside from humiliating myself in front of the entire class I screwed over the rest of my group, too. And I missed my due date for Creative Writing because last night I was too busy prepping the English thing to write anything. Couldn't get into the library at lunch to do it then. Went to Drama Club meeting after school, ran for two offices, got elected for neither. (Figures. Everyone hates me.) I need to get out of the house NOW before I bash my skull in but I have no one to hang out with and it's too fucking happy and sunny out anyway.

My mother says, "oh, people don't dislike you, they just don't KNOW you." No, they don't WANT to know me.

You know what?

I wish I could show you a video (it does exist) of a 'group' presentation I had to do in a spanish class. I had to do everyone's job, and I was so upset the day we had to present that I was terribly inebriated and fucked up the whole thing.

The teacher shows it in class to this day.

what you need to do when you screw up a presentation is as follows:

Carry a package of alka-seltzer tablets in your pocket. If you mess up terribly, discreetly pull one from its hiding place, pop it in your mouth, let the foaming begin, and fall to the ground convulsing.

The alka-seltzer tastes like shit, but no one will remember you screwed up!
