(no subject)

today was kind of bad. still have the same headache I've had since Wednesday afternoon. and then there was some stuff I don't want to get into, like 4th hour, bleehhh. but Tech was okay. we played with gobos and harassed sucker-selling preps during break. but then we had to do math. and tonight is going to suck because I'm going to the RV game to see their band show, as is tradition, but no one I know from the who isn't in band is going, which means I get to spend an hour there sitting around awkwardly by myself. yay? bleh.


oh. and here's what I've been doing in art. I haven't worked on it since Tuesday since I've been helping Matt build building Matt's canvas for him. because I'm a nice person, or something. only I'm not. anyway, I couldn't work on this anyway because oil paint takes for frickin' ever to dry. but this is what I have so far...



The color isn't as dark in some places/light in random others as it looks, because the parts where the paint hasn't dried or where I used liquin are shiny. I'll make it all shiny when I'm done, I think, to fix that... kind of looking at it and making mental notes of Stuff To Fix, heh.





Yeah. It's two photographs of mine that I layered in PSP. I am SCARED TO DEATH to paint in the beams because I don't want to fuck up my pretty pretty sky.

I love the painting. I love the picture. I think the beams in the picture would take away from the gothicness of the painting. But, in the picture it is really cool.
