1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
Wrecked my car.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't believe in those.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Er, no.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Nope.

5. What countries did you visit?
None, really.

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
...A boyfriend? HAH.

7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
June 12... although I guess by that point it may have technically been the 13th... when I wrecked my car, anyway.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Becoming full crew, I guess.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Er, life in general?

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing beyond the usual multiple sinus infections.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Parts to fix my car? Heh.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Er, I dunno.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
I dunno... Bree, at times, I guess.

14. Where did most of your money go?
I don't spend too much money, really, but car parts were probably the biggest expense.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Becoming full crew, heh. Yay money.

16. What song will always remind you of 2004?
Deftones -- "Change (In the House of Flies)". Funny how I still love that song despite several REALLY shitty things being associated with it.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder?: "Sadder" isn't really a word.
ii. thinner or fatter? About the same.
iii. richer or poorer? Richer. I have a sort-of-job, at least.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Playing guitar.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Being depressed... not much to be done about that, though.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
Probably driving to fucking Illinois on Christmas.... ugh.

22. Did you fall in love in 2004?
Hah.

23. How many one-night stands?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

24. What was your favorite TV program?
I hate television.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Eh, "hate" is a little strong, but there are some people I somewhat can't stand now who I was okay friends with last year, and vice versa.

26. What was the best book you read?
Brave New World by Aldous Huxley.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Deftones.

28. What did you want and get?
To be more social.

29. What did you want and not get?
Too many things come to mind.

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Ugh, I don't know... I don't really watch movies, either.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 17, and.... uh.... ::goes through LJ archives:: Oh, right, my mother planned a surprise party for me that I pretty much had figured out based on my mother's rabid insistence that I go to dinner with Adam and Adam's rabid insistence that we eat at Pizza Hut even though I felt like Chinese.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Gah... I dunno. Saying "a boyfriend" is too fucking cliché teenage girl and makes me want to shoot myself... so... having a car for the first month and a half of summer, heh.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
Fa-shun? Uh. The same as it has been for the last 4 years, which is to say jeans and t-shirts, although I finally got over the whole "OMG, I'm so huge, I have to wear XL men's t-shirts all the time!" thing and started wearing clothing that came closer to fitting me. But still t-shirts.

34. What kept you sane?
You make it sound like I remained/ever was sane or something.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
*snerk* You're fucking kidding me, right? I HATE celebrities.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
The election.

37. Who did you miss?
Matt.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
Lisa, Mike, Anna (I figure the last month of 2003 where I met you once and hated you doesn't count), Hunter... that whole group, basically, heh.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004:
No amount of socializing will make me any less lonely.

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
"I'm just trying to live this life of mine/The more I look the more I'm blind..."
