numberoneblindHad the standard Christmas/mother's birthday thing at my grandparents' house tonight... yeah. Getting presents from my grandparents is always fun because half the time they don't know what's even in the boxes -- my mother does all the shopping, then gives them stuff to give to me and they pay her back.
Basically, I got art supplies, heh. Mostly acrylic stuff, because while oils are fun they take for-fuckin'-ever to dry and I don't have that much patience or free time. I think I'm going to move the shitty old computer that's in my room -- it's circa 1992, updated in 1996, and I never use it now that we have a laptop I can take upstairs -- and use the desk space for art stuff. Because yeah, there's really nowhere else in my house for me to do it. Although knowing me, the cleared-off desk space will last about a week and then it will turn into a catch-all for assorted shit I'm too lazy to find somewhere else to put.
