numberoneblindUgh.... Merry fucking Christmas to me.
Yes, that is the back corner window of my car, and yes, it IS as fucked as it looks. Probably more so. Every last one of those happy little white bits on the window is a crack, not snow.
And I have no clue how it happened. That pleasant little surprise was waiting for me when we went to leave for Wheaton today. It must've happened last night, but there were no branches nearby that could've done it, and the likelihood of someone coming up our driveway on Christmas eve and bashing my car window in is pretty much nil. So my guess is that something/someone hit it very very hard at some point and weakened the glass, and the ridiculously cold weather made that happen.
If the anti-Bush sticker there wasn't so subtle I would perhaps attribute it to the Republicans, but yeah, no one ever really gets that the "No W" thing = "No Dubya" = anti-Bush. Interesting that it's that window, though.... yeah.
I don't know. Whatever the fuck happened, I am FUCKING pissed off. I put saran wrap over the holes to keep the snow out of the speaker that's right below that window, and tomorrow we're going to knock out and vacuum up the remaining glass and put Visquine over the hole until we can get it fixed, since all the auto glass places will be closed tomorrow. How ghetto. Meh.
