numberoneblindso. eventful day. had Academic Challenge this morning and we actually managed to, like, win. shocking!
then a build from 12-4:30 which I mostly spent working with Tim. and using the jig saw. DAMN do I hate the jig saw. but our set is mostlykindofdone! except for, you know, the fuckton of painting I have to do.
after build we went to Dairy Queen for lunch/dinner (linner? dunch?), and then sat there for an hour and a half talking about light plots and lighting instruments and lighting design and other people's drama, and watched it get dark.
came home. opened mail. mail included letter from Kalamazoo College saying they were giving me $11,000 a year, JUST based on my application, not even taking into account competitive scholarships/financial aid/National Merit. Yeah. $44,000. HOLY SHITFUCK.
and then I got bored and went and drove around with Ali for, like, an hour and a half, and we went to Wal-Mart to visit her friend Amanda who works there, and we hung around until Amanda got off work at 11 and then went to IHOP for coffee.
so yeah. there's my day. oh Livejournal, I missed you so, you and your chronicling of my inane life....
