..Well. This is turning into a tradition.


The public performance of "Assassins" was supposed to be tonight. But it's cancelled. Why?


Because of a COMPLETELY irrational snow day!


Not that I'm complaining, mind you... days off are good... but it didn't snow overnight and it's not supposed to snow today, so why do we have a snow day? I looked out the window this morning, figured we wouldn't, got up and got ready... didn't check closings until I was on my way out the door, and even then just out of curiosity as to what schools DID have the day off.


so odd.


and you know what? saaaame thing happened the day of the public performace of "The Importance of Being Earnest," which was our Forensics show last.


so yeah. special. ah well, back to bed.

whoa. um. well.


I just sold a piece of art.


my mom's friend Ruth came over, along with her friend Nancy, and Nancy is a big fan of art and was wandering around the house, admiring my art... and she came across my prints (the ones here). And she asked me if I would be willing to sell her one.


well, um, holy shit. because yeah. me? selling art? I'm 16, I'm a highschool art student, I wouldn't expect to sell my art EVER but especially not now! but surprised as I was of course I wasn't going to refuse.


so yeah. I have an extra $20 now.


I think I'll spend it on art supplies. ^_^
