so Eastern called while I was gone today.


they said they wouldn't call unless you were one of the full-ride winners.


apparently they lied.


so for about 2 minutes (between when I got home and when I called) I was reaaaaaally happy.


and then... "we're sorry to inform you..."


I wouldn't have minded... it's still $3,600 a year... but I got all excited about it.... because I thought... I mean... they said they wouldn't call unless... and I thought my interview sucked but since they called...


...yeah. today went from okay to shitty in about .4 seconds.

yeah, I know. I'm okay with it now, it's not so much the money that was the issue -- just thinking I got way more than I did and then calling and them being like "yeah, sorry" after I'd had my hopes up.
