this is my message to both the people who are gushing about having a valentine and the people who are bitching incessantly about not having one:



it is stupid fucking excuse for a holiday; if you care about someone you should show it all year 'round, instead of waiting until a specific day and buying lots of useless flowers and candy and chocolate and teddy bears and shit.

Total Hallmark holiday. Ridiculous.

plants are a much better idea... they're alive, rather than cut flowers which are dead when you get them. plus yeah, if they die it's not your fault, heh
