had my first production meeting today. I know ASM is the bitch job but it still feels good to go to a theater meeting and feel like I matter. I don't know. I'm going to be INSANE next semester but I think it will be worth it.

on the downside, callbacks are on my fucking birthday and there is the potential I will have to be there until 10 PM. and the worst part is I don't KNOW how long it'll be. I was hoping to find people to go to dinner with so I could have an un-sucky birthday (well, 17 was good, but 18 = shit-tastical) but apparently I will be stuck in FAB for an indeterminate amount of time, so I can't even make plans. lame.

tomorrow, a polisci test, on which I am moderately fucked, and yet I cannot entirely bring myself to care. good part is it's take-home, so I have 4 hours in the afternoon to work on it instead of OHGODIHAVEANHOURINCLASSTOWRITE.

the next week, I am going to fucking die. apparently my lighting final thingimawhatsit is supposed to take 25-ish hours to do. no, that is not a typo. it is due at 9 AM Wednesday. however, I also have a reasearch paper due for film on Tuesday night. as for how I am going to balance those two, I have no fucking idea whatsoever. thinking of asking Tracy for an extension on the paper, in advance so she knows it's not just that I procrastinated. even if I have until Wednesday night instead I'll be better off because I can gather research and brainstorm over the weekend but not worry about writing the fucker until Wednesday after my lighting final ends in the morning.

something. I'm going to be a good girl and go read polisci-ness now.

EDIT:// oh, and Jucifer posted something on their myspace asking if anyone wanted to design a flyer for them. I was (judging by the email) one of 4 who responded. kinda unclear on what they want on it, just a blank or one with the venue info they sent me, but if all else fails I'll do both because guess what show the info they sent was for? thaaaat's right, the one I'm going to. woohoo. even if mine prolly won't be the one picked because one of the other emails was on a personal domain and I went to the site and it's some guy with wicked awesome art and such.

Yup, I already did. Apparently she's going out of town and so she needs it by Wednesday, but I got a 1-day extension on it, so I'll just get all my research found and then write the fucker on Wednesday after I turn my lighting stuff in.
