Mar. 14th, 2006 01:19 amso I've been going through cycles with this lighting project.
Friday - Saturday: "HOLYFUCKAMGONNADIE."
Sunday - Monday night: "Eh, maybe it won't be too bad."
Monday night - until Wednesday morning: "HOLYFUCKAMGONNADIE."
it didn't seem that bad, spent a leisurely day, took a trip to Western's library to get some books on the Czech New Wave... and then I get to the drafting room and everyone's halfways done and I don't even know where to start and AAAAGGHHHH. Figured out my basic areas and got about halfway through my section, but daaammnnnnnnn. going to stay up a while longer doing some reading, and then wake my ass up early tomorrow morning so I can get moving and do a bit more reading and then go draft draft draft. mind you, I like drafting when I know what's going on. I've always been annoyingly meticulous with my art (which is why Contemporary Painting next semester is going to make me want to stab myself in the face) so drafting is pretty easy for me, I like being tidy and making straight lines and my handwriting is pretty regular. It's just all of the photometrics and logistics and ARGH. And my design is going to suffer for it because I'm so stressed out just about DOING the fucking thing that I am -not- feeling creative in the slightest. well... c'est la vie. I don't care anymore. My GPA this semester is going to be ass and I've just resigned myself to that at this point.
