(no subject)

today... wow. holy shit. 2 hours of sleep but they were two good hours, haha, because I woke up feeling like I'd slept a full night. went to lighting class and as shit as I felt like my concept and plot were, they sounded 432784390214321 times better when I explained them, even if I kept freaking out because Lanny kept leaaaaaaning over to look at stuff before I was going to show it and AGH, that made me nervous. got out of there at around 11 and went right to work on the film paper. I emailed Tracy last night to see if I could get even a 2-hour-more extension... but, no reply, which kind of pissed me off. so I just figured on 4. spent about two and a half hours reading articles and making notecards, and then about two and a half writing the fucker. and honestly, I feel like that's the best paper I've written in a while, despite being a 5 1/2 page research paper written in under three hours -- ESPECIALLY because it was a 5 1/2 page research paper written in under three hours. I'd kind of lost all faith in my writing ability this semester and this kind of... renewed it a little, you know?

so yeah. I'm feeling pretty good. and I am DONE. DONE DONE DONE. for the next 10 days, which is moderately depressing because it's not enough, but I can deal. whee.
