uh, yeah, allow me to reiterate: my father is never getting his camera back.

also: went to renew my parking pass for the restricted lot -- my mother called and asked for a week, i was going to ask for three when I went to get it -- but when I went to the office I got the new guy, who without us having discussed how long the pass would be good for goes to write the expiration date and says, "when are you guys done, June 12?"
me: er... I think June 9...
him: well, I'll write it for the 12th, just in case.

so I definitely have a car here for the REST OF THE QUARTER FUCK YES.

(he also didn't ask to see my registration so it's still in my backpack, I'd better not forget that...)
