and i feel nothing/not sane/it's a hard day for dreaming again

oh right, LJ. so. Alyssa was here the last few days, and it was cool. Friday we had a picnic on the pier, and then went and partied with Harley/Billy/Sara/et al and it was good. yesterday got dragged to Indiana for family drama masquerading as cookout funtimes. and by "dragged to" I mean "had to drive to and back from" and jesus christ I hate Chicago-region traffic. today, went to Grand Rapids where I bought an awesome dress and dropped off Alyssa at the airport. but she's using my house as home base when she comes back at the end of summer, so I don't have to do the emo "omg-not-seeing-one-of-my-closest-friends-for-forever" thing with her.

regardless, being home is eating at me and I'm feeling kind of emo anyway. no job and I can sense this town sucking the life from me already. not to mention any job I will be able to find will suck the life out of me even more.

Apply at all the life-sucking jobs, and while you're waiting around for a response, come visit me! Marquette in the summer is amazing, plus there are a couple of cast parties on the horizon...THAT'll make you feel better...

When -is- a good time for me to come visit? My only commitment thus far is that at the beginning of August I'll be full of Vicodin, in bed, and drooling on myself for a week or so.
