1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
...went to the UK? There's another, but that's personal, haha.

2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I never make New Year's resolutions, because I know I'll never keep them.

3. Did someone close to you give birth?
Harley.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No.

5. What countries did you visit?
The UK, Kuwait, and an airport in Germany.

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
...someone interested in me? Har har har.

7. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
The two surgeries, arriving in the UK, arriving in Kuwait

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Having a social life in the spring.

9. What was your biggest failure?
School this term.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I had foot surgery and my wisdom teeth taken out this summer, and I have been sick since setting foot in Scotland. Guess.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Does spending all of my money on being abroad count?

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
I dunno.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
My own, as usual. And my father's this summer, kind of.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Being abroad.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
I don't think my brain has a "really, really, really excited" function. Although, not gonna lie, I think the closest I got to it was A SQUIRREL EATING OUT OF MY HAND in Hyde Park the other day, haha.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or hardened? Happier. The end of last year sucked, though, so that's not much to have beaten. Hardened in some aspects.
ii. thinner or fatter? About the same.
iii. richer or poorer? Waaaaaaaay poorer.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Making money, although it's been impossible most of the year.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Spending money.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
I spent it in Kuwait with Alyssa and her family.

22. Did you fall in love in 2007?
No.

You could say that, I guess.

24. What was your favorite TV program?
I don't watch TV with that much intent. I watched a lot of trashy shit this summer, though.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Nah.

26. What was the best book you read?
I don't remember what things I read for the first time this year. I'm a big re-reader.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Several... The Knife and Rilo Kiley are the biggest, though.

28. What did you want and get?
A shisha pipe for Christmas!

29. What did you want and not get?
A replacement camera... well, technically I got it, but it hasn't actually made it to me yet.

30. Favorite film of this year?
I don't know. I don't watch many movies.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 20. I went to Saffron with a bunch of friends, and then we got drunk.

32. What kind of things would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
....not to be typical and emo, but, someone being romantically interested in me? (Not counting the Psycho Funtimes in winter quarter.) Getting a little action? uh, yeah.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?
As nonexistant as ever. I have cooler glasses now, though.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
I don't "fancy" celebrities and public figures.

36. What political issues stirred you the most?
Wanting everyone to stfu about the election so early on.

37. Who do you miss?
Everyone at home. :(

38. Who was the best new person you met?
Jenny, Evette, Laura, the Block 20 crew, Chrissy... I've met a lot of cool people this year.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2007:
The UK is fucking expensive.
