ow
ow ow ow
so, my new job is in the produce department at meijer (i know)
and yesterday i spent about 2 hours wrangling watermelon
today i went to trim the hedges
and bent over
and there was a little pop
and i was on the ground
my back is completely fucked
i took three ibuprofen, a darvocet, and a flexeril, and 40 minutes later it still took me 10 minutes to make it from the floor to the couch
i am basically incapacitated; i'm only home because sara's in town and i'm supposed to go out with her and jenna tonight, and i have to work tomorrow...
and fuck

Date: 2008-07-04 08:34 pm (UTC)Course, the fact that I've pulled a back muscle or two myself surely means I am not one to judge. Definitely rest and relax for a while, see if you can't be put in a job where you sit or stand for a while. It's really the only remedy for healing the muscle - no speedy recovery.
