I went to the beach today. I am sunburned all over, but soon it will all turn brown. Sarah left my car door unlocked and my CDs got stolen... blah.

The more I think about it, why the fuck would you steal CDs? You probably don't have my taste in music, and what the fuck else can you do with them?

Ugh. Whatever. I'm mostly annoyed about having to buy a new case...

I'm one of those people who after I buy a cd, I rip a copy and then put it on a shelf never to be touched again.

But then again cds from Japan cost too damn much.

I listen to music in my car a lot, so I keep my CDs there. Only maybe 1-2 of them weren't ripped to my computer, so it's not a huge loss -- just a pain in the ass, and big cases are expensive.

I've always wondered what they'd do with them. Five or six years ago, they might've been able to sell them caseless, but not now. Most places won't take CD's without cases, for just that reason.

But then, I have to remember, people are idiots.

I'm pretty sure it was just a being-a-dick consolation prize for the fact that they didn't find anything else. A lot of people leave cameras and cell phones and such in their car when they go to the beach, and seeing as all my glove compartments were thoroughly rifled-through, that's what they were looking for. Good thing I, you know, don't leave shit like that in my car.
