the end of "to the lighthouse", which i had to read for my lit seminar, is, in part, essentially 60 pages of reflecting on how the world keeps going but differently after a loved one dies. i made myself feel sick trying not to get upset while reading it. but a friend volunteered to take me out for chinese and a movie after, so that was a good distraction.
my obama glee was pretty quickly stifled a little by the fact that three more states passed anti-gay-marriage amendments. "change... change... bad change for you!"
my dad did not win. but, you know, berrien county and all. percentage-wise, he did better than other democratic candidates (other than obama) in the area.
i am doomed to forever be one paper behind in lit. i need to work on photo shit as well. hlagghghgh.
going this afternoon to work in a new theatre. we'll see how it goes. i am always nervous about just showing up to places like i have to today... i always feel disoriented and overwhelmed.
aaaaand stuff. i dunno.
