well...

so. um. last two days. yeah, eventful... went to Drama Club party at Sean's yesterday afternoon, then picked up Deanna and Bree and went and hung out at Tim's at 7. drove home somewhat illegally, damn time-limited license. Bree came back to my house and we crashed in the living room.


then I woke up this morning and...
IT SNOWED!!
Not a lot, but more than we've had thus far this winter... sadly enough... since it was only, like, 1/2"...


so then Bree and I went to Apple Valley to buy almond meal as well as druit fruit to snack on (we're weird), and came back and baked... LINZERTORTES! they're these weird almond-y pie/cookie (pie made from cookie?) things with raspberry jam that my family makes every Christmas, and so Bree and I made the first batch of the season.

So then I took Bree home and discovered that HOLY SHIT my car does not do well on ice at all. my car, you see, is essentially a giant air bubble covered in tinfoil, glass, and bumperstickers. so it has absolutely no weight to it. at all. so I hit a patch of ice turning onto my street, fishtailed it 3 times before I made it to my driveway (and I have the first driveway on my street), then another time going up my driveway.


so yeah. all very special.
